Development Manager for Spider@Westpac - New retail banking System for Westpac. A 3 year, $750M Strategy Investment Priority (SIP). The biggest IT project for FY 2010 and 2011 which impacted 8,500 employees across 800 branches and head office sites Nationally and 5.5 million retail banking customers. Lead all design, development and integration activities.

Annual program run by Macquarie Bank. 28 Senior technology managers are selected by C level exec to be put on the program across Macquarie Group Globally. Based on behaviour styles (psychometric tests, 360 profiles, 1-1 interviews) individuals are placed in teams of 4 by polar opposite behavioural styles. The program was an intense leadership development program targeted to technologists who are identified to potentially become directors.
A five-year Bachelor of Engineering with a major (also known as field of practice). With a 1 year diploma in Engineering Practice, which gives a student two six-month periods of internship with an engineering company. Doing the internships during the degree prepares students for professional practice, giving valuable work experience before a student graduates, and enabling a student to integrate the classroom learning with genuine industry work for some of Australia’s biggest engineering names.
