Personal Profile

Architect, Engineer and specialist for Cloud, Web, Mobile and Enterprise.

Decisive, action-orientated and results focused business and technology professional.

Have over 12 years experience in Application, Security and Infrastructure across varied and demanding roles within Architecture, Design, Development, Management, Product and Operations.

Industry experience includes Media, Financial Services, Online and early stage startup and Joint Ventures

I have managed and led cross-functional teams as large as 120 people. I'm equally just as happy in smaller teams.

Routinely held roles which are both business and engineering facing. I'm able to drill down into low level detail at a technical level and at the same time able to present to C level executive, business and product teams.I have the unique ability to fluctuate between business and tech speak.

Very strong commercial acumen (Commercial negotiations, Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statement of Works (SOWs), Request for Tender (RFP/RFI), Contact reviews)

I strive to identify what is trying to be achieved first before rushing into solution and details.

I'm a technologist at heart and even though my recent roles have taken me away from being hands on. I'm happy to roll up my sleeves and develop proof of concepts as needed.

I frequently take the lead on complex technology issues, establishing and advocating best practices/blueprints.

I have good breadth and depth across key technologies, delivery areas, open source and commercial tooling.

  • Application, Network, Cloud, Security, infrastructure architecture and design
  • Technical Project management
  • Enterprise Architecture and Business Strategy (including road maps)
  • Agile (SCRUM, Kanban, Parallel and XP), Lean and Waterfall methodologies
  • Complex Project delivery and project rescue
  • Mobile, Tablet and Web development including UX and Responsive design
  • Strong Vendor, commercial and contract management
  • Comfortable public speaker and can confidently present to large crowds.
  • Held numerous job titles across development (Analyst Programmer, Technical Project Manager, Development Manager, CTO, Operations Manager, Application Architect, Integration Architect and Solution Architect)
  • I'm a true Technology Polyglot. And can readily learn new technologies rapidly.
